Preparation Before A Book Signing
The first thing that comes to mind before going out there; anxious and ready to sign books for anticipated readers:is to be very ready. Every author may have a certain way of preparing themselves, and I am one of them. I've learned by going to other great book signings, that there is much to do before that big day--like not forgetting to bring plenty of pens, and chilled water to get you through those long hours.Oh, yes, the books; and if you've ordered them from your publisher, be sure you have them before the day of the event. Maybe some autograph stickers for your well-deserved readers, and some good conversation. But whatever you chose to do at your book signing...plan, plan, plan. ;)
